At the Celta Foundation, we firmly believe that our work goes far beyond what happens on the pitch. We believe in football that transforms lives. Under this premise, we have just taken a very special step by joining forces with the Sunu Gaal Association, an organization that, like us, understands that cooperation and sports are essential tools for opening a future of hope.
This new bond, signed by the director of the Celta Foundation, Germán Arteta, and the president of Sunu Gaal, Mbaye Gil Sánchez, is born with a clear goal: to join forces so that the youth of Senegal have better opportunities. We want the ball to be a driver for health, education, and joy in communities that need it most.
While the Foundation will provide all its expertise in grassroots sports and team values, Sunu Gaal will be our voice and our hands on the ground, developing health, educational, and social projects. Above all, this alliance is a promise of action; the creation of a bridge of solidarity between Vigo and Senegal where people are the true protagonists.
This project reinforces our conviction that joining forces is the most direct way to generate a positive and real impact on society, proving that sport knows no distances.
