The Celta Foundation is pleased to announce that registration is now open for the 9th Invasión Celeste by Profand Group, the highly anticipated popular race taking place on April 26th. This event has become a true celebration of “Celtismo,” combining sports, family, and solidarity in a day designed for all ages.
In addition to bringing hundreds of fans together through sport, the race once again features a significant charitable component. The Profand Group will match every euro voluntarily donated by participants during the registration process, doubling the impact of the initiative. All proceeds will go entirely to the CTNNB1 Spain Association, an organization founded by families of children affected by CTNNB1 syndrome, a severe genetic neurodevelopmental disorder. The association works to support families, provide guidance, and promote research to improve the quality of life for those affected, while also driving awareness and therapy programs.
This year’s edition introduces key new features to encourage wider participation. The Fundación García Chillón Orlando is sponsoring a new inclusive category, ensuring more people can take part in this great sporting festival. Additionally, a walking category (andaina) has been added for those who prefer to complete the route at a gentler pace.
MODALITIES AND PRICES
10K, 5K, Walking (Andaina), and Inclusive:
€13 until March 26th.
€16 from March 27th to April 19th (registration deadline).
Youth Categories (1K and 50m): €10.
START TIMES
10:00 AM – Príncipe Street: 10K, 5K, Walking, and Inclusive categories.
11:30 AM – Inside Abanca Balaídos Stadium: Youth categories (access via the Río stand).
RACE NUMBER PICKUP (BIBS)
Bibs can be collected the day before, Saturday, April 25th, at the official Celta store in A Sede (Príncipe Street) from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM. On Sunday, bibs will also be available from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Príncipe store for the 5K, 10K, Walking, and Inclusive races. Bibs for the 1K and 50m races can be collected at Abanca Balaídos.
