Last Thursday, the Afouteza Training Ground experienced one of those mornings that will live long in the memory. RC Celta’s first team paused their regular training routine to share very special moments, create unforgettable memories, and connect deeply with some of the club’s bravest and most inspiring fans.
Thanks to the wonderful collaboration with ASANOG (Galician Association for Children with Cancer) and Centro San Rafael, young and older fans alike—including Adrián, Daniella, and Álex—alongside their families, enjoyed a unique day close to their idols. Smiles, autographs, photographs, and, above all, immense warmth and afouteza (courage) took center stage on a day where football took a back seat to highlight the most human side of sports.
The Celta Foundation wishes to express its heartfelt gratitude to all the families and the incredible work of both organizations, who serve as a daily example of resilience and strength. We will proudly continue working to ensure that celtismo remains, above all, a driving force for hope, joy, inclusion, and solidarity.
