A football project to promote social inclusion, health and independence for people with intellectual disabilities

Fundación Celta has launched the new Celta Integra Zelnova Academy in O Porriño, an initiative aimed at promoting social inclusion, health and independence for people with intellectual disabilities through football.

The project will have 18 participants, aged between 15 and 53, who will take part in one training session per week during the 2026-2027 season at the Lourambal Municipal Ground. The sessions will be led by Fundación Celta’s technical team.

The CeltaIntegraZelnova School was created as part of the collaboration agreement between Fundación Celta and IN-RED, a business association of which Aceesca is a member. Through this initiative, the participating organisations aim to help break down barriers and change society’s perception of disability, using sport as a tool for integration and for improving the wellbeing of participants.

Fundación Celta thanks all the organisations whose involvement makes this new step possible and turns into reality a project that extends the club’s social commitment to inclusive football.
