The Monte Real Club de Yates in Baiona hosted the official presentation and charity gala of the Zelnova Zeltia Grand Prix. This historic event in the Galician sailing calendar reinforces, more than ever, its social and solidarity commitment in favor of the Celta Integra Zelnova team.

Sport, core values, and solidarity joined forces once again in Baiona. The presentation of the 51st Conde de Gondomar Trophy – Zelnova Zeltia Grand Prix became the perfect setting to reaffirm the close alliance between Fundación Celta and Zelnova Zeltia, combining the demands of the sea with the spirit of overcoming challenges on the football pitch.

During the event, which included a charity gala in aid of Fundación Celta, the Celta Integra Zelnova team took center stage. Representatives from both organizations and institutions of the Monte Real Club de Yates highlighted the importance of using sports as a true tool for social transformation.

Rubén Martínez, Patron of Fundación Celta, emphasized the course set by the club during his speech: “We are very clear about our roots and our connection with the community. It’s about building ‘celtismo’ from core principles, working with a clear purpose where not just anything goes, and always going beyond the strictly sporting aspect.”

Meanwhile, the Director of Fundación Celta, Germán Arteta, looked back to recall the origins of the Celta Integra Zelnova team in 2015, highlighting the evolution of players who have already won the Genuine League twice: “Just as in sailing you have to interpret the wind to move forward, in football our boys have learned to interpret many things beyond just kicking a ball. It is constant teamwork and self-improvement.”
